Creating and Editing Dictionary Entries
By default, when creating or editing an Organization, there is a default list of Types and Business Categories available to the . More options can be created by editing the Dictionary within the Organization Edit page.
Adding New Dictionaries for Organization Type
- To edit the Dictionary, open the Organization Edit page by creating a new organization or editing an existing one. Click on the icon next to the Type drop-down menu.
- The new window appears allowing you to edit the existing organization Type dictionary . To add a new item to the dictionary, click on New Item.
- Select the order of the item from the drop-down on the left.
- Enter in a name of the item on the field next to the drop-down.
- Click Save to save the dictionary item.
- The dictionary item is now available in the Type drop-down.
Adding New Business Categories
Out of the box, there is a list of you can assign to an organization. You can add more categories the same way you add organization types.
- Click on the dictionary icon next to the Business Category drop-down menu.
- Click on New Item to add a new .
- Enter in a category name and then click . You can change the order the category is on the list by clicking on number drop-down menu.
- The category now appears in the drop-down menu.
